Why President Buhari Will Win 2019 Presidential Election Against All Odds - By Terfa Naswem

There are numerous allegations against President Muhammadu Buhari and his cohorts  to have perfected plans to return back to power in 2019 against all odds after observing that the overwhelming support Nigerians gave to him in the 2015 general election has waned seriously. From my investigation, I realized that there are some factors that will push Buhari through in 2019 presidential election no matter the number of votes that might be cast against him.

Supreme Court Sacks Hembe Again By Terfa Naswem

The struggle to reclaim the membership of the House of Representatives for Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State by Herman Hembe proved abortive as the Supreme Court reaffirmed its stance on his sack. Hembe was sacked earlier by the Supreme Court and ordered INEC to issue the Certificate of Return to Hon. Mrs. Dorothy Mato as the rightful person to occupy the position.

WHY I RESPECT JONATHAN MORE THAN OBASANJO By Terfa Naswem

Despite the fact that I was an ardent critic of Jonathan and his administration over corruption and insecurity, there are areas where I still applaud and eulogise Jonathan as a hero when compared with other past Nigerian leaders. Jonathan allowed corruption with impunity to fester in his government, but never showed he was power hungry like Olusegun Obasanjo, and I urge Nigerians to continue to respect him for that.

Breaking: Buhari sacks NAMA, NiMet bosses, two other heads of Nigerian aviation agencies

Four heads of parastatal agencies and college in the nation’s aviation industry have been sacked, according to a government statement. Those relieved of their jobs are the Managing Director of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Mr Emma Anasi, and the Director General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Dr Anthony Anuforom.

Rivers gov poll: Wike asks A-Court to set aside tribunal judgment

ABUJA—Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, yesterday, went before the Court of Appeal in Abuja, to challenge the judgement of the state’s Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, that nullified the outcome of the  April 11 governorship poll that  brought him to power.
