I Am The Luckiest Nigerian – President Jonathan Says He Is Happy

President Goodluck Jonathan may be leaving office after losing at the polls but he is most ecstatic than ever. President Jonathan has reflected on his sojourn in government and counts himself as the luckiest Nigerian man ever.
He reflects on his political journey having served Nigerians in different offices for 16 years.
Speaking at the Easter celebrations in Aso Rock on Sunday, April 5, 2015 the President said he thinks he has rendered enough service to Nigerians and he is happy about that.
President Jonathan said: “this Easter period coincides with when I’m leaving but I always say I’m one of the luckiest Nigerians. From 1999 I have been in the hands of government. I am yet to see somebody luckier than me.
“I was in the hands of governments for 16 years, not in government as a parliamentarian, because if you are in the National Assembly or state House of Assembly, you take care of yourself in your house. I was in a cage being taken care of by the government. But I think it is enough and I am happy, help me thank God for that.”
