Protests Mar PDP Primaries In Delta As Lawmaker’s Aide Shoots Constituent

Last Saturday’s primaries to select House of Assembly candidates for the Peoples Democracy Party (PDP) in Delta State turned bloody at Aviara, Isoko south local government area of the state, when one S.K. ezekiah, an aide and relative of the deputy Majority Leader in the state legislature, Johnson Erijo, allegedly shot a female constituent.

2015: Why I want to govern Delta – Obuh

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governorship aspirant in Delta State, Mr Tony Obuh, has said that the health policy of his administration, if elected, would be aimed at reducing social disparities in health care (universal coverage) by placing emphasis on primary health care. Deltans from all tribes graced the event. The crowd was huge.
