Fuel not scarce, stop panic buying, NNPC tells Nigerians

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Tuesday, called on Nigerians to desist from panic buying of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel, stating that it has about 23 days of product supply in all its depots across the country.

NNPC not broke, despite huge debts – Kachikwu

LAGOS—The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, said, weekend, that despite losing N230billion annually from marketing and refining operations, the Corporation was not broke. It also disclosed that it owes over $6billion in cash call arrears.

Arepo: Where vandals rule over a Nigerian territory

Nigerians woke up Wednesday, with  news of the gruesome murder of nine operatives of the Department of  State Security,DSS in Konu area of Ikorodu Lagos, Tuesday night,  by vandals who were returning from  Arepo creeks  in trucks loaded with siphoned petroleum products  belonging to the Nigerian .National Petroleum Corporation.

NNPC to commence review of deep offshore production agreements

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, yesterday, reiterated its resolve to, within the next couple of weeks, commence the review of the fiscal terms of its existing deep offshore Production Sharing Contracts, PSC, with some International Oil and Gas Companies operating in Nigeria.

Why we’re yet to move against NNPC – Buhari

ABUJA—The Federal Government, yesterday, attributed the delay in moving against the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, to efforts being made to establish the magnitude of fraud and inefficiencies in the corporation and in the oil and gas industry over the last couple of years.
