PHOTO: See The Criminal Face Of The Nanny Who Kidnapped The Orekoya Kids

This is the criminal face of the OLX maid who kidnapped the Orekoya kids. She was arrested last night by men of the Lagos state command police force. The Lagos State, Commissioner of Police, Mr Kayde Aderanti, had earlier said the culprit has been arrested and was in custody but the story was doubted by some Nigerians.

Aderanti who confirmed the arrest during an interview with Channels Television, revealed that the kidnappers, faced by immense pressure the incident had generated, abandoned the children in Shasha Area of Lagos State.

Sweet News!! Kidnapped Orekoya Boys Has Been Found!


The 3 children of the Orekoya family who were kidnapped by their nanny has been found. Their mother shared the news on her Facebook page. Above is what she wrote...

It would be recalled that her kidnappers demanded for a N13million ransom for the release of the children. The parents did not however state if the money was eventually paid. Thank God they are safe. I hope other parents have learned from this. Never leave your children in the care of total strangers…nanny or not!

Petroleum Minister’s nephew kidnapped in Bayelsa



Yenagoa—The peace of Yenaka, the home town of Minister for Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State was, yesterday, violated by unknown gunmen who kidnapped her nephew, Mr. Joseph Agama. Vanguard learned that the gunmen stormed the sleepy settlement at about 12:30a.m. and went straight to their victim’s home.

The primary target, it was, however, learned, was Chief Maxwell, Joseph’s father, but having missed him, they settled for his 20-year-old son. The gunmen were said to have fired warning shots into the air before whisking away their victim to an unknown destination.

A community source said: “They came at midnight and took the boy away. We understand that they wanted the father, but settled for the son.

“They are part of the family of the petroleum minister. We do not know where they took him to and they are yet to state their motive.” When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Asinim Buswatt, confirmed the incident.

He said: “At about 12:30am today (yesterday), one Mr. Maxwell Agama of Yenaka community reported that his son, one Joseph Agama, age 20, was abducted by some unknown gunmen.

“We are still working to know the number of the gunmen that carried out the attack. We do not know the motive behind it but our men in the marine division have been alerted of the incident and have commenced search, with a view to rescuing the victim.”

Female child thief nabbed, stripped & clubbed to death in Owerri

A suspected child thief was Tuesday nabbed, stripped naked and clubbed to death in Owerri, Imo State capital.

The middled aged woman, who was identified simply as Chioma, was allegedly caught while trying to steal a baby boy at the Ogugba Park, in Owerri municipality.
Vanguard gathered that before the angry mob snuffed life out of the alleged child thief, she was made to confess her sins.

Three killed, woman rescued as kidnappers battle police in Anambra

Awka—A SIX-man gang of suspected kidnappers yesterday engaged Anambra State Police Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in a gun battle at Okpoko in Ogbaru local government area during which three members of the gang were feared dead and a woman, Mrs. Edith Maduekwe, kidnapped by the gang, rescued by the police.
