Nigerian Banks are no Longer Accept International Cheque

My friend received an adsense cheque from Google but Nigerian banks said that they are no longer accepting them.
I chat with GTBank and they told me that they are not longer offering the service.
Here is their format for receiving money:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
CORRESPONDENT BANK:    CITIBANK, LONDON
SWIFT CODE:                           CITIGB2L
SORT CODE:                             185008
FOR CREDIT OF:                      GUARANTY TRUST BANK PLC, LAGOS, NIGERIA
SWIFT CODE:                           GTBINGLA
ACCOUNT NUMBER:             5511615
IBAN NUMBER:                       GB67 CITI 1850 0805 5116 15
FOR FINAL CREDIT OF:         (Beneficiary’s Name)
BENEFICIARY’S A/C NO:       (With GTB)
ANY OTHER DETAIL:  (E.g. Sender’s Name, Reference e.t.c)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Option is to transfer the money direct to your Domicilary account but Google specified that If your wire transfer is going through an intermediary bank, it must be based in the United States.
It is obvious that GTbank intermediary bank is in London, and this made it impossible for them to accept international cheque.
I have been trying to reach Google about this but I have been able to do that.
Please any help about the cheque we have received will be appreciated.
